Yoga in English proposes a vigorous and dynamic class that integrates physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of yoga practice that originated in India by applying it to a Western lifestyle. The class concentrates on the How and the Why of Yoga. Through the use of asana, breathing exercises, meditation, mantra and relaxation students will be introduced to the fundamentals of yoga as well as some challenging positions for intermediate students. The lesson follows fluid sequences (vinyasa) with focus on breath awareness, alignment and relaxation. Close attention is given to the correct physical work that ensures a safe practice as well as finding the practical keys that introduces its spiritual component.
